Our Regenerative Medicine Services

 We specialize in regenerative orthobiologic treatments for joint, tendon and ligament conditions. Our most common patients are those with knee pain, often from arthritis, who have been disappointed with constant cortisone and “gel” injections, bracing and other options they have been offered for their pain.  Patients typically see us and are frustrated that they are unable to return to the activities they enjoy despite seemingly trying everything other than surgery.

For some patients, this may not be the case and surgery may truly be the best option; but Dr. Ayzenberg prides himself on helping his patients often avoid surgery for conditions such as arthritis, tendonitis, ligament and muscle injuries.

Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (A2M) is a large protein naturally found in your blood. Its main job is to trap and neutralize harmful enzymes that break down cartilage in your joints. This can be used to help protect the cartilage, reduce inflammation, and ease pain, especially in conditions like osteoarthritis. By stopping the harmful enzymes, A2M injections may slow down joint damage and support your body's natural healing process. In order to obtain A2M and Protein Concentrate, we perform a simple in-office blood draw and then, using highly specialized filters, filter out the A2M and protein concentrate, which can then be used as an injection.
